Too many hands, need help

Hey guys,

I tried emailing the support address and got no response so hopefully you can help me here. I bought HEM a couple weeks ago and have since moved houses so I was too busy to really try and fix this in the last week or so. When I bought the program I imported my whole database which was around 2.1 million hands. Importing went fine but now I can't even load the program up as it just lags out at the initial screen. I'm sure I can probably just delete everything and start over with a new database from scratch but I spent a lot of time configuring my HUD and was wondering if there was a better way to go about this.

I also tried to Purge the hands multiple times and it froze aobut 1/3 of the way through.

Please help!

which HM version are you using? Try the latest beta, it should improve your performance: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.06.04beta.exe

Whatever the latest one was before the new beta. You really think it can handle that kind of DB without lagging out? It tilts me to even try it anymore.

Yeah there was alot of improvements in the beta, also try vacumming the database http://208.109.95.123/faq/?f=60

People are running databases in excess of 10-15 million hands without problems although if youve a low specs machine youll experience lag with alot of programs including HM and in this case extra RAM or a PC upgrade would be needed
