Hello,

I read the thread that the liscence server is somehow down....
I bought a new notebook, because my old one was not working very well anymore...
So, here is my questions: is a bad time now to reset my liscence and install HEM on my new notebook. Should I still wait??

Another question: on my old notebook I had windows xp, now I'm gonna install it on my new one with windows 7. Maybe anyone can recommend a link, where it is explained the best and easiest, because I somehow fear that I'm gonna have hard times get it runnin on windows 7.....

Thank you very much in advance,

Kind Regards...

License issue was only a temp issue, you can safely go ahead as this is a very rare occurance

If you just want to install it on Windows 7 you should have no more issues than installing it on Window XP and probably less issues.

If you want to know how to transfer all your details here you go

If your doing a clean reinstall or moving HM to a new computer you should consider the following.

We have a backup and restore feature within Holdem Manager that makes it easy for you to backup all your settings, hand histories and files.
FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Backup & Restore (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/418/Backup+%26+Restore)

This is a new feature and there are some compatibility issues with it so if you have any problems you can do this manually by following the instructions below:

Export and Import your Hand Histories and/or backup and restore your database

Thanks,

installing and importing the hands to my new computer worked all perfectly well!! It was really easy, not a problem with windows 7!

But now I have the problem, that when I play for example on Full Tilt, HEM is importing the hands but there is no HUD...what can the reason for that be...

Thank you,

* Please try updating to the latest version 1.11.05 Beta http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Beta.exe

* Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure that holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe, dbcontrolpanel.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu under compatibilty.

* If that doesn't help, please check this and answer and post the questions FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: My HUD Doesn't Work (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/48/My+HUD+Doesn't+Work)
