after updating to 1.11.05 i just noticed that the notes popup size seems to be a fixed size right now. in the old versions, the size was variable... now the whole formating of my notes is destroyed which makes is impossible to read at the tables since one note takes two lines (instead of one before) and notes with much information on certain regulars don't even fit on the whole 24' monitor (lengthwise). any solution or do i have to reorganize my notetaking?

Just testing it here and it works the way it always did and allows you to resize it, Please install the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe again incase there was some sort of problem while updating the last time

as you can see, the writing windows is resizable, but the popup somehow adds a new line. in a strange way the "tttttttt...." line changes the size of the window, but the other line gets split.

reinstalling the update didn't change a thing.

I see the problem: the notes editing window formats the lines different from the yellow notes tooltip window.

Which version did you use before where it was working the way you expected.

i guess it was 1.11.05 beta 15. my notes are one big mess now... maybe downgrading back to beta 15 would help? but then my tablescanner wouldn't work, right?

Depends on the pokersite.

I'll generate a bug report for the notes layout

only need table scanner for stars... but i guess i could live without it.

regards the 2 pics i posted, this note was created in 1.11.05 (both lines) and it still has that kind of bug. so i guess it's not because of the old format of the notes. could you give me a link to the beta 15? really don't know if i will find it on my hdd ;)

If you copy the Stars.dll in the root of HM, install the old version of HM then put the updated stars.dll back in the root of HM install your table scanner should work.

I'll be looking into this note issue once I get caught up from the weekend.

thanks for the info!
one more thing about notes, are you ever gonna implement a real editor in the note editor? like being able to use bold letters, underline or different colours?

well, downgrade to beta 15 didn't change anything. is there a way to delete all existing notes? i made a backup before the first update to the final 1.11.05.

A database backup or a notes export?

i exported all notes before...last database backup was 13.10.2010.. the day i installed 1.11.05, hope i made the backup before the install. you think it could help if i reinstall HM or test a new database?

*edit*
tried a old database (that got damaged), same note problem.

*edit2*

i just found my last installer of HM in my download folder, it was beta 10... notes work perfectly again! hope you can solve the problem, so i can update. am i the only person with that problem?!

still the same problem with version 1.11.05e... just asked some friends and they have the same problem. can't imagine that fixing this would be very hard.
