I am trying to get holdemmanger working on my laptop again after upgrading. I had this problem on my desktop which uses Windows 7 and following steps giving to me to delete a couple files did the trick. My laptop uses Vista and even after allowing myself to see hidden files I still cannot find this file:

C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat

I could really use a hand in getting my HEM working again. I have already deleted the shared licenses file.

Thank you,

You don't have to delete the .ldat file as it only exists if you were using HoldemManager 1.08 before.

You only have to First of all, we need to enable the option to see Hidden Files: How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html)
http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/images/hidden.jpg
Problems Registering Holdem Manager:

Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

This is a hidden SYSTEM file. (not just a regular hidden file)

Also please try this:

1. Update to http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
2. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
3. Open HM and register
4. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file
