I have followed the instructions to use: How do I setup Holdem Manager to share one database between two computers? (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/336/How+do+I+setup+Holdem+Manager+to+share+one+databas e+between+two+computers%3F)

1. Renamed path with PostgreSQL installed - this is backup before uninstall
2. Un-installed PostgreSQL
3. Installed PostgreSQL in other disk
4. Сonvinced that PostgreSQL is works via pgadminIII.
5. Changed path in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\pgsql-8.3
6. Rebooted Windows XP

7. PostgreSQL can't connect to postgresql server via pgadminIII.
and I have this:

The PostgreSQL Database service started then stopped, Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do...
This FAQ: Can't Connect / Failed to Start PostgreSQL (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/91/Can%27t+Connect+%7B47%7D+Failed+to+Start+PostgreSQ L+) didn't help me (

From the second PC I have the same problem.

morny, thanks!

problem was solved. It turned out that the user postgres does not have enough access rights to the new folders.
