Hi.

I recently reinstalled my windows on my computer. Therefore, in order to keep my hand histories, I exported them through holdem manager (Export hands in Database management), which resulted in 66 txt files.

I reinstalled my windows, HEM, and tryed to import those hands=> fail.

Actually, I got about 3K hands (out of 36k) which are imported correctly, and I don't know why. All in the remaining hands fail.
The HEM I had was 1.11.04, and so is my new one.

I already tryed to import then several times (by moving them in another folder) and I optimized my database since I saw a thread talking about it. Nothing worked.

Up.
I still have the problem.
I could provide some more information if needed, but I doubt the site where I play can be a factor here, as I'm only using HEM to export and import hands.

Please try with our latest beta 1.11.05 Beta 18 http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Beta.exe
and create a new database for a test.

Please check your windows regional settings (under control panel). Are you using a non standard setting for the date / currency formats?
If you change it to english (usa) and try to import the hands - does it work?

The new beta patched made my HUD work, which is very nice.

But as for my import, still doesn't work. I tryed to set my regional settings to USA too, didn't change anything.

please email the hands to support@holdemmanager.net and also link to this thread and well see if the problem is the hands or something else

tried to import these HHs - got a lot of errors too

they are not in English - allmost all. And this is cause of errors

for example - see first hand in File21.txt

Ok.
What surprises me a LOT is how exported hand from HEM can't be imported back into HEM.
I fail to understand how it's possible :)
Anyway what do I need to change for it to work?
Change the system language to eng before I export the hands?

EDIT: I fixed the issue by remplacing every '€' char by '€' manually in the files! Thanks!

Yeah, Its not actually HM, its something on your system deciding to replace the € Symbol with those weird characters. Usually with weird issues like this it is the regional settings that cause the problem, can you post screenshots of your regional settings of all the TABs
