View Full Version : Can't activate HEM with new key

I have installed HEM on my laptop, and now it says my trial is over (don't get why it says that, because i havnt been on a trial with HEM ever). When i try to activate, it doesnt seems to work. I have upgraded HEM on my other computer (so it works for OMAHA also), and now i cant find a way, to type in my new serial key on my laptop. Any suggestions?

First of all, we need to enable the option to see Hidden Files: How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html)

Problems Registering Holdem Manager:

Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)




These are hidden SYSTEM files. (not just regular hidden files)


Also please try this:

1. Update to http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Beta.exe
2. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
3. Open HM and register
4. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file

Didn't help. The file you described didn't excist in my folder, so i could do that. I installed the update, and i said "Succes, bla bla", and then after "A valid license could not be obtained for Hold em manager"

Cant i chance my key in one or another way?

Something on your PC is blocking HM from sucessfully getting access to the server to verify the registration.

Please email me the reg.log file from C:/Program Files/RVGSoftware/HoldemManager/log folder and it help us identify the issue
