Want to get a new laptop but don't know what to get. However, i wanted to know is it possible to make my 5 year old laptop faster if i remove start processes or things like that. Its a pentium 4 processor with 2gb ram and 5400rpm hard drive. Actually its not really the HEM but the HUD that causes the lag when i 16 table.

Did you try all the performance tips from our FAQ? FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Holdem Manager Performance & Speed Tweaks (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/373/Holdem+Manager+Performance+%26+Speed+Tweaks)

Of course deleting processes will help but i can't give you any advices which processes. This is more of a general windows question.
