is this possible? I'm trying to get all my computers set up but I'm not really sure how to set it up on 3 different computers. I'm pretty sure I've figured out how to do it for two though.

also, I am trying to do this without using a portable hard drive.

edit- could someone link me to a page to just set up two databases without an external hard drive. having some trouble

Well the instructions for setting it up on 2 databases is the same with or without an external hard drive, its just a drive after all dosent matter how its connected to the computer. However the PostgreSQL data files need to be on a drive where all 3 people can access whether thats an external hard drive or a drive on a network or whatever. Im sure setting it up for 3 is no different than 2 people so heres the instructions for that:

Also heres one about setting it up on a network:

I wrote the first one through trial and error and the 2nd was written by someone here on HM boards so if those dont workid recommed trying one of the SQL forums as im no expert in PostgreSQL just know enough to get it working and troubleshoot basic errors
