Want to move my HEM database etc. onto a 1TB external hardrive. Will it still function well? How do i do this?

read: FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Move Database to Another Hard Drive or Partition (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/368/Move+Database+to+Another+Hard+Drive+or+Partition)

Alternately, install SQL on the external drive--> and reimport the original handhistories to it.

Note: I can't really recommend the use of external harddrives.
Since they're being restricted by the USB data transfer speeds, generally have slow 4K read speeds, it could cause all sorts of performance problems if you're using a large (10+ GB) database with many hands/many players.
