I have an old dell 15.4 laptop that is 5 years old. Its a pentium 4 processor with 2gb ram and slow once i hit 16 tables with HEM and TN on. The resolution for this old laptop is 1280x800 resolution so i basically let my 20 tables load on the screen the way it is and do not cascade or stack.

Someone recommended me to get 1080P laptop because the resolution would be better for poker. Standard resolution is 1366X768 resolution but i see this laptop called the Dell Studio 1558 you can upgrade it to 1080P which is 1920x1080 resolution. I wanted to buy this 15.6 laptop but then i heard tons of problems from the online forums such as it heats very fast and turns off and just have lot of issues that Dell did not fix. Someone mentioned the processor is right below the touchpad which is why its so hot. Also, the fan runs really loud from what i heard. However, people say its if you got the i7 processor. The specs i wanted for this laptop are

I5-450 Processor
4GB RAM
1080P 1920 X 1080 Resolution
500GB Hard Drive 7200 RPM

You could get i3, i5 or i7 for this laptop. It cost around $1025 which is a very good price because rarely do you find laptops in 1080P this low. Does anyone here have this laptop and can tell me how good it is for multitabling?

Someone else mention to me that the Sager NP 5125 is good and i see that you can get the same specs for around $865 online. Its also 15.6' as well but many people say this laptop looks really ugly.

I kind of wanted to get an Asus UL30VT-A1 13.3' laptop because it is small and i can move it around but the processor is old so someone says it might lag with 20 tables and HEM and TN on. Does anyone here play 20 tables with a 13.3' laptop or do most of you use 15.4 minimum? Should i even dare try a 13.3'? What about 14.1?

Has anyone here used any of these 3 laptops? If not, what laptop do you guys use to mass table poker with HEM and TN on? I am curious because i want a laptop that is good and don't have problems like fan noises or it getting real hot and random shut downs and I know many people here are probably satisfied with their laptop to multitable on it.

I don't mind getting an old computer model as long as it doesn't lag when 20 tabling on it or those other issues i mentioned. However, i prefer a 13.3'-15.6' laptop. Anything smaller is too hard to see and I don't want no big 17' laptop.

Thanks everyone!

I do not want a macbook. I know HEM is not compatible for a macbook and i have used a macbook before and did not like how it is. I prefer windows.

Anyone? I am getting a bit upset because it seems most laptops that are 1080P are either real expensive or they are really big laptops like 17.3 which i do not want.

I know its been said to get a laptop with 7200 RPM. My old laptop is 5400 rpm. But it seems most laptop brands such as dell and hp seem to have lots of problems with their laptops. I wanted the dell studio 1558 but i see everyone who owns it complain about it on a forum when i google.

Would it be bad if i just go and get an asus or sony vaio 15.6 laptop with 5400rpm? I mean every laptop i see is 5400 rpm with the exception of dell but that laptop has shutdown and heating problems. Could i just buy an asus or sony vaio and then upgrade the 5400 rpm to 7200 rpm?
