I am a little bit concerned and need to address the following:

i. When I tried to delete a database from PGAdmin........I received an error message that I could not delete the database because other users were using the database.

ii. I went to my taskmanager and deleted the HoldemManager.exe and/or HMImport.exe file and was successful at deleting the database(s)

iii. When I returned to the HoldemManager application, the "hero" player was RS5079 (PP). I don't play on PartyPoker and have not changed "hero" player in the reports tab in quite a long time.

My question is.............

i. Is it possible for other players to access my database?

ii. If so, how can I increase the security measures to prevent this?

There is no way that other users can access your database.

The message came up because you had holdemmanager running while you tried to delete a database. Holdemmanager was the other "user" that accessed the database.

For the hero change: the hero setting is saved in the config file with a unique ID. Unfortunately this hero ID is database dependent. So if you change the active database it can happen that hero suddenly is another random player.
