So i did pull up my steal success and they where CO:47 BTN:52 SB:62 but should they not be over 66% if i am to make money? I am rasing to 3x to win 1.5x so that is 3/4.5=66%???

I do know that i obv make a shitload of money from stealing so what is wrong in my thinking?

Your math 3/4.5=66% is incorrect.
If you steal successfully in the CO/BTN you win 1.5 BB.
That's all that matters. It's irrelevant if you raise 2x BB or 5x BB.

Because you don't automatically LOSE 4 BB when you raise to 4 BB and your steal attempt is not successful. You can be called and still win the hand postflop, you can be reraised but actually have a monster hand (to re-reraise, or call)

When you steal successfully it's basically only costing you 1 BB to win 2.5 BB (your 1 BB + 1.5 in the blinds).

So 1/2.5: you ONLY have to be successful 40% in the CO/BTN for it to be profitable
