So I'm getting a little frustrated. I've disabled my firewall, turned off UAC, edited my hosts, checked I'm using ntfs, and I still can't get HEM installed. Postrgresql is the nastiest install I think I've ever tried, and if many people find it this hard, it must be losing HEM customers.

The error I get is:

Please try to download and install postgresql 8.4 from www.postgresql 8.4.
If that fails try version 8.3 instead.

The password our installer creates for the postgres user is postgrespass.

the link for postgres download doesnt work...

I have problem too, when i click start it say path contain nothing, from start menu, in C:Prog/Postgres i dont have the start option...

So i want to dowload only postgres, not the combo, cause my HM backup is a bit old :S

EDIT

I fix it!

A clean up in my registry affected postgres it seem, i just restore my last registry booster save and its ok now.

The message wasnt ''path contain nothing'' but something like ''cant find the path'' and i got the error message ''3'' if it can help someone...

But thanks...
