View Full Version : How much can I rely on HM1's AI $EV adjusted?

Hi, if i'm playing 6max hypers (starting on 25bbs, blind increases every 2 min, etc), how much can I rely on it? The thing is I'm not sure how is it calculated, if it takes into account bubble factors (ICM), or not, etc.

Overall... the Luck Adjusted Winnings in HM1 and HM2 is very accurate in NORMAL STTs, and TURBO STTS, and Fifty50s, and DOUBLE OR NOTHINGs.

It takes into account ICM, and even when you fold... and two opponents go allin against each other, it calculates how the outcome of this hand has an effect on you, so these hands (where you fold) can also result in a EV DIFF for you.


Unfortunately we have a bug affecting HYPER TURBOs, so the Luck Adjusted Winnings line is NOT accurate in hyper turbos. The line is about 30% lower (estimate) than it should be.

Hi. I bump this thread because my All in EV tournaments graph stopped working for some reason.

As you can see: EV stopped working at about 575 tournaments, and now doesn't show any EV difference. (it started arround 98 games, when I realized I needed to import tournament summaries, btw). I don't know what happened now.

Any thoughts?

Are you playing hyper turbo's?
EV is temporarily disabled for hyper turbo's (because it was bugged), it will be enabled again if the bug is fixed.

If you're NOT playing hyper turbo's update to: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.01_27Mar2013.exe
and reimport your hands into a new database.

Any idea when hyper turbo EV for $300 & 500 will get fixed? Everything above $200 the ev is just the same as the result, ie not functioning at all

EV is temporarily disabled for hyper turbo's (because it was bugged), it will be enabled again if the bug is fixed.
It should be fixed two builds from now.
