Along with all described you have to do this
- HUD Options > additional hud filters > filter by limits > [x] include hands from other limits,
and [x] mix ftp rush and non rush stats
- preferred seat is set in HM1 HUD Options > Seating Preferences
- Stars hero name is set under HUD Options > Set Hero Name
- prefetch off in HUD Options > Site Options

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure you r video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates./

Update: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.01_17Dec2012.exe

If that doesn't resolve it, please close your Stars client and your HM and replace the file c:\programme\rvg software\holdemmanager\blitz.dll with this one: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13215305/Blitz.dll

This will only work if you used the default Holdemmanager Installation folder. If you used a different folder during the original installation you have to replace the file in your custom installation folder.

Also try uninstalling Comodo.

Should i download HM again and during downloading right click on file and press unlock? And i have second question: when i try to atcivate HM shows me that information :

You only need to replace one file blitz.dll, no need to reinstall HM completely.

You can reset your license in your account on Hold'em Manager Poker Software - Best Poker Tracking Software (http://www.holdemmanager.com:) http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/24/I+Can%27t+Activate+%26+Register+Holdem+Manager

I just played my first hands for a few months at Zoom and I am also lagging 1 hand behind on the HUD

I have 12.10.b and tried to place the Blitz.dll mentioned earlier, that did not help

Actually I didnt have the exceptions set in Windows Firewall: I had everything else done. Even though Windows Firewall is turned off, somehow adding those exceptions seems to have made it work! Thanks.

I am continually having this problem

When I replace the blitz.dll file, it starts to work. but the next session I play, the next day or whatever, the HUd is lagging 1 hand behind

I have 1.13.01 and have the permissions set, etc, from the last time I had this problem. Its only come back up again because I am playing zoom again

How can I fix this?

Avira Free, Windows Firewall

As I say it works if I replace the blitz file but then reverts back to not working the next time I restart etc. Does HEM or Stars replace blitz.dll or something?

What do you mean replace it? You do not need to do that any more.

Please update to this version:

http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.01_04Jun2013.exe

Please see this FAQ:

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/641/How+to+setup+Holdem+Manager+to+run+with+Pokerstars +Zoom+tables

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem, describe exactly what you were doing, and attach your zoom file -

Close PokerStars.
Close HM1

Update : http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.02_29Sep2013.exe

Start PokerStars again.
Start HM1.

(it that doesn't resolve it, reboot your computer
start HM1 first... then PokerStars)

When the blitz.dll file (for Zoom) is updated it has to 'hook into' the PokerStars client again to detect the Zoom tables.

so it should work if you follow all the steps in our FAQ and in this thread.

Latest beta is from October: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/373771-latest-internal-beta-hm1-update.html

And please see our FAQ: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/641/How+to+setup+Holdem+Manager+to+run+with+Pokerstars +Zoom+tables

One hand behind is usually caused by not running the stars client as administrator

You are very welcome. Thank you for letting us know what solved your problems.

No hero HUD in HM1 at Zoom tables is by design. It is possible to see your hero HUD on zoom tables with HM2 but we do not plan to implement this feature in HM1 since it is at the end of it's life for support.

Good luck at the tables. If you have any questions or problems do not hesitate to ask us.

Copy C:/Progam Files(x86)/HoldemManager2/blitz.dll and starscommunicator.hm2
to C:/Program Files(x86)/RVG Software/HoldemManager

If you don't have HM2, just download and install it, just so you can get those two files.

Just made a forum account to post here, so frustrating. Please provide a PROPER update/patch for this!

The fixes suggested in the last few pages are not working.

I have bought HM2 when it was released, and was forced to move back to HM1 because of the huge perfomance/HUD issues HM2 has had since launch. I only use HM1 because its simple and works. I bet there are other people like me, and I would happily pay for proper updates to this. Or even better, fix the issues with HM2!

Use the blitz.dll file starscommunicator.hm2 file from this HM2 update: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/8187_Hm2AutoUpdate.exe

Followed the steps posted in this good post: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/513362-still-hm1-zoom-table-1-hand-behind.html#post2375872 . I cant get it to work. After you move those 2 files, the HUD breaks down altogether. I am using F-Secure (uses Windows' own firewall).

Offtopic:

I guess it doesnt make sense for me to troubleshoot these issues manually (or for any other serious poker player). Moved on to HM2 now after a few days of troubleshooting with it. A few words of advice maybe for other players considering HM2:

The most important thing for me was just to accept that HM2 simply does not work with large databases the way HM1 does - you absolutely have to have 2 databases, one for record keeping and one for playing. I tried to get HM2 to work on a ~5M hand DB for a day and the software just completely froze randomly while trying to configure it and the HUD just refused to work properly. And I have a 1.5~ year old top of the line computer, clean Win 7 install and only the necessary poker software installed. So by all means the software should work if it was designed to do so.

I think it would be helpful if this would be stressed to some point in the Transitioning from HM1 to HM2 manual. Most players who have previously used PT2/PT3/HM1 are used to just dumping all their hands into one active db and using it.

Patvs
08-29-2014, 08:31 PM
Is your HM1 updated to 1.14.01?

Uninstall F-Secure and reboot.
Then copy the blitz.dll file starscommunicator.hm2 to the HM1 folder again.

HM2 simply does not work with large databases the way HM1 does

You are right. In HM1 there are a lot of tables that deal with a specific hand played by a specific player. In HM2 we don't have these tables in the PostgreSQL database, instead, for player related hand data, we use a flat file approach. Each player has his own folder and each file represents a single day. Each line within the file is a tokenized version of a single hand with more details. Your overall HM2 spaced used (DB + Files) is about 2/3 of HM1 and we store 2-3 times as much info.

1 million hands =
HM1: 6.8 GB
HM2: 4.3 GB
PT4: 13.6 GB

There is a downside to this 'flat file' approach, it's a big strain on your harddisk. It has to read a lot more very small files, so the 4K read speed of your harddisk becomes important. (in PT4 it also has to read just a lot more data).
If you use NoteCaddy or have millions of (datamined) hands, a SSD harddisk becomes essential.

I can't find these files in C:\Program Files\Holdem Manager 2 folder You are looking in the right place - they are missing. Your antivirus is deleting [or quarantining] those two files. Disable your AV & download/install again. You will have to do without an AV or add exceptions for those files or change to a "friendly" AV such as Microsoft Security Essentials.
