HEM was working fine yesterday, but now I get some crazy errors. I upgraded to version 1.11.05 Beta 12 to see if that would fix it, but I have the same problem.

On any tab, the only thing I see is grey with what looks like part of the help/documentation screen showing. When I try to click around to other tabs to refresh the app, I get an error message. Part of the error message says:

"Could not load file or assembly 'HEMGUI, Version 1.0.9.150, Culture = neutral" etc etc.

I can provide the full error message if you need it. There were pages and pages of text in the More Details section for the error message.

Run a Windows Update...
Which VMWindows version is this? Updated with the latest service pack, .net framework update, etc?

It's Windows XP, running on Parallels. I did a Windows update. Not sure what version of .NET I'm running. What version do I need to be running?

It's still doing the same thing after the Windows update.

I updated to .NET Framework 4, still having problems.

Any ideas? Should I try uninstalling HEM and reinstalling? If I do that, will I lose my database?

Is XP updated to Service Pack 3?
Reinstall HM won't affect your database, so try to run the full 93 mb installer again

I updated to SP3 and installed the full install of HEM, same issue. Do I need to completely uninstall HEM and then reinstall or will just launching the full install file without uninstalling first work?

Attached another screenshot of the error I get when I close out of HEM after getting the first error.

Update: attached is what it looks like.

HEM does actually work when I click to open a new HEM window. I can view my stats, reports, etc. Only thing I can't do is import hands.

Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework:

1) Download and run this uninstaller - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
2) Install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe

I run the first file fine, but then get an error when running the second. Attached is screen shot.

And below is from the error log if that helps:

Ok, so I was finally able to run the cleanup tool and reinstall .NET version 3.5. All the installations went through without a problem. I then reinstalled HEM just to be safe. But it is still doing the exact same thing as before. I have no idea what's going on.
