PokerStars had a client update today that broke Zoom.
My PokerStars.EU client updated to PokerStars 6 (build 6535 of the PokerStars client)

Update: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.01_17Dec2012.exe

If that doesn't resolve it, please close your Stars client and your HM and replace the file c:\programme\rvg software\holdemmanager\blitz.dll with this one: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13215305/Blitz.dll

This will only work if you used the default Holdemmanager Installation folder. If you used a different folder during the original installation you have to replace the file in your custom installation folder.

Unfortunately my client made another update today before I did te copy those files form the backup directory, so I don't have the old files anymore. Would someone be so kind to zip and upload them somewhere for everyone or send it to me via e-mail. thx.

with the latest built (~17Dec2012.exe) my hud doesnt work properly. i can only see the hud from the last hand played (its not live), what can i do?

same here.
I installed the 1.13.01 version, and still doesnt works.
Then I copied all files from backup folder for ps folder, as you said, and still not resolved.
hands are late.

I seen that after the PS backup my files, like pokerstars.exe werent set as administrator. They werent saving any hand histories either (despite me having it ticked in the software). Since setting to admin and restarting, it all works again.

With XP you don't have to run it as administrator.
Do make sure HoldemManager.exe is set to the exceptions to Windows Firewall.

On which PokerStars are you playing? PokerStars.EU? In which language are your computer/Windows settings?

This will allow you to temporarily run the old version of Stars.

that worked for the last 5 or 6 days but now im forced to update ...

just here to say that I'm running 1.12.10b (small stakes) and using the temporary solution still works (yesterday and today, played 10 minutes ago)

There is an issue with TableScanner is this dec 17 build. If you use TableFinder update (or downgrade) to http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.01_29Nov2012.exe and also replace the blitz.dll file.
(the .dll file fixes the Zoom issues)

I am running 1.13.01 Internal and have downloaded the blitz.DLL file and put it in Programfiles\RVG software\Holdem Manager directory but stats are still showing up 1 hand too late while I play zoom. Is it possible I have to enable/disable a certain setting to get it to work in real time?

Hi,

HUD works for Zoom, but my hands don't show in my sessions tab. Was the case for 1.12.10b and now for 1.13.01

Hello!

Zoom hud stopped working properly after 17.01.2013 PS upgrade... It shows stats from the previous hand to what is being dealt now... like its lagging 1 hand behind ...
Any ideas how to fix this?

Iin our tests it was still working. Please reboot your computer and try again.
And make sure that the stars client is still started as administrator. Right click on the properties of pokerstars.exe -> compatibility -> run as admin.
The Stars update may have deleted this setting.

Make sure the lobby language is in English.
Re-check your summary folder settings (did you add the folder as an auto import folder), is PokerStars writing the summary files to that folder: Read the tournament summary section @ http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/6/PokerStarsSetup

Hello. I downloaded HM1 (again) a few days ago but I can not get the ZOOM to work properly.
I have a big delay with my HUD, seems like the HUD need to wait for every player in the hand to be finished before it can keep moving to the next hand (even if Im out of the pot).

I have tried a lot of things to make it work, this is what I have done:
Changed Pokerstars and HM1 to "Run as admin" (have checked it alot of times)
Turned off UAC
Turned off something called "Secondary log"
Made an exception for Pokerstars and HM1 in my windows firewall
Changed client language to english
Syncronized hand import folder from the client with the auto import on HM1
Rebooted my computer a few times.

Any idéa what more I can try?

Hello

I run HEM Small Stakes 1.12.10b with PokerStars and started playing ZOOM.
I created the separate database dedicated just for ZOOM.
HEM imports hands, but when I want to see my stats I get the following window:
104221

I get the same result if I import the hand history manually.

What is wrong?

It's potentially whilst 1 tabling only running around 3-4 hands behind? I have even tried not fast folding in a hope it may catch up with itself but alas not.

Replacing the blitz.dll is no longer needed if you install the latest build and could actually cause problems.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_04Mar2013.exe

Replacing the blitz.dll is no longer needed if you already nstalled the latest build.



Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin"from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates./

Hey, I've been having some problems with getting my HUD working on Zoom, it was showing up for players from a couple of hands ago, in the end this was the only solution that fixed it (I do have the most recent update btw) - oddly though whenever I turn off my computer and turn it back on, the problem is back and again I have to redownload this & replace it and it works again.... I have a solution sure but it's a bit annoying having to do it everytime my comp comes back on... any ideas as to why this would be? Thanks.

hi

hud delay on zoom is fixed since i update to internal 1.13.01 tyvm.
but i ve got other issues since:

in zoom: - hero hud dissapeared.
- i don t see mucked hands

in SNG 18 and 27: error in tourney/results tab, some results are missing but i can t find them in data view/incomplete tab.

how can i fix it please?

No Hero HUD / No mucked cards: both are normal for Zoom/Rush.


Tourney / Results: Are you also importing the tournament summaries? Please view this FAQ to make sure you are setting up HM2 and Stars correctly. - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/642/Poker+Stars+Setup

If the summaries are being imported properly and there is still a problem, please send the hand histories and tournament summaries in which this issue occurs and send it to support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread./

Our latest betas have a problem importing Stars summary files. You may downgrade to 1.12.10b again and copy/restore the file c:\program files\rvg software\holdemmanager\blitz.dll from the latest 1.13.01 Beta after installing the downgrade.

just tried it, but

- zoom hud delayed again
- still no result in tourney/results tab after manual import of HH and TS files.

Are these zoom tournaments?

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.

Or is the zoom fixed in the latest, but not in the previous? That would be expected.

For the tournaments, Please zip and email the original hand history and tournament summaries (for Stars, FTP, and Pacific) files from c:/hmarchive and/or c:\hm2archive

files are zipped by right clicking - send to - compressed folder

For multiple files, copy to a folder, then zip them.

to support@holdemmanager.com if the new database does not work.

You should try with the latest build - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/373771-latest-internal-beta-hm1-update.html

Chances are that some of the tourneys may still not work.

If any specific games sstill don't work we need the log file that was asked for in the previous post along with the following:

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot of your desktop - Capture a Screen Shot of your Desktop or the Active Window in Windows (http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm)

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
4) The "\rvg software\holdem manager\importing\hud data" folder AND the \appdata\roaming\hem data folder.

Please Zip these folders and email them, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a Insert Image button. Click this and attach the file.

Unfortunately it doessnt work with zoom tournaments, hud doessnt show, later it did but it was just for 1 hand or something, it diddnt refresh also showed hero hud.

We do not have any plans to support zoom tourneys in HM1 but they are supported in HM2.

Dear Support!

I can't force hm1 ( Version 1.12.10b - 2012-06-09 ) to work with zoom. I even tried the "1.13.01_17Dec2012" version, but it's still doesn't show the correct villain. Before I used this 1.13.01 version and it worked fine for months. I run everything in administrator mode, but helps nothing. Has anyone idea how to fix my problem?! Many thanks in advance!

The downloads page of the web site is for official releases and that is the last official release. The latest beta builds for HM1 are always stickied in the HM1 Releases forum and linked to in the forum notices at the top of every forum page. We considered adding the beta build to that downloads page on the main site but it changes frequently and those of us on the tech support team can't edit/update the main site without asking a web admin to do it for us, and we are getting close to a new official hm1 release (and getting close to ending all future HM1 support), so we decided it wasn't worth the effort this close to the next HM1 release and eventual end of life for the program.

I do everything to get the hud, it appears, but every quick fold, i get a new hud for vilain from the last hand.

I run as adminstrator on my win 7, i add every file in exception list with the firewall/antivirus
Actually, i can't understand how HM can give me the right hud for the right vilain while he doesn't import the hand yet, because to see a hud, we have to import the first hand, but it is impossible... so need help !

Actually, i can't understand how HM can give me the right hud for the right vilain while he doesn't import the hand yet, because to see a hud, we have to import the first hand, but it is impossible... so need help !

The Zoom HUD works differently than normal HUD to get the names of the active players.

We released a beta build with a fix for the Zoom and Rush issues.

Please update to - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.02_05Aug2013.exe

Make sure you have updated the PokerStars client software if you had previously used our manual PokerStars rollback instructions. You will need to close PokerStars and manually run the \PokerStars\pokerstarsupdate.exe file to force the PokerStars client to update.

Actually i uninstall and reinstall HM and get the last patch, and it runs good now, so everything is cool !

Does their screen name have the EUR symbol? We fixed this issue in HM2 but I don't think it was/will be fixed in HM1.

Bugticket on this is HMONE-64.
The bug is fixed in HM2. I have no eta when this will be fixed for HM1.

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

I managed to get it working just now by rolling stars back to last version and installing the last build with a fix for zoom. Gonna leave it as it is now ;) Thanks for the reply

Hi, My HUD for zoom appears but the only correct stats, player, and position is my own. Other player stats are lagging a few hands behind. Can I know how to fix this?

Download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 from Official Microsoft Download Center (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22)

In Vista, 7 and 8, this is done in Control Panel - Programs - Turn on/off windows features.

Turn it off, then restart and turn it back on.

and my hud and hem are stil not working properly.

my holdem manager is not working properly on speed tables. HUD is refreshing , changing to slow,but not for one hand but more. I play 5 hands on single table and table maneger only imports one.

i have no problems on regular tables.

Hi, I got my HUD working, but player stats are a few steps lagging behind. I searched and found that u guys mentioned that nothing can be done about it coz I fast fold my hand but the hand is still being played out.

Is this fixed or will the HUD work in real time with HEM2?

I used to have the problem with the hud lagging behind one hand a few times already, but could always fix it by updating and following the other steps recommended in the forum. This time I tried the 05aug and the 10oct update, I installed this Download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 from Official Microsoft Download Center
and I added the files to my expectation list of my firewall(I coulndt add the blitz.dll and a few others because they werent avaibable in the list but it still use to work before the last update) and I tried to just deactivate my firewall.

No HUD? Hands not updating? What is the version of HM2 displayed in your HM2 menu bar? Are you XP or Win 7 or what? What firewall s/ware? What anti-virus software? Are you playing on .com PokerStars or another regional PokerStars?

ah sorry. The hud is working but lagging behind 1 hand. I use win 7 and I use HM 1, thats the HM1 forum right? the version in them menu bar is 1.13.02. I use only the windows firewall and play on stars.com

I believe you need to copy two files over from HM2 into HM1. See this post from patvs:-

This is an HM1 thread. PokerStars no longer allows HM1 to be used on their software so I can not help with HM1 issues on Zoom tables.

If you are instead using HM2:

Please update to the latest beta version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_2_Beta.exe

- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock.*
* If you do not see an 'unblock' option you can ignore this step.
- Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

IMPORTANT Zoom Installation Instructions:

Make sure you always start HM2 first before you open the PokerStars Client. If you closed PokerStars for any reason and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM2 before you start PokerStars again.

On the first run, you must start the Hold'em Manager 2 HUD BEFORE you launch PokerStars. If PokerStars is open, you must close PokerStars, start the HUD and then open PokerStars before Zoom HUD will function properly.

If the Zoom HUD is not displaying after doing the above, please uninstall PokerStars, rename the associated C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\PokerStars.xx folders. and re-download and install PokerStars as the PokerStars installation is more than likely corrupted and a PokerStars reinstall should resolve the issue.
