View Full Version : HM1 hud not working for zoom on POKERSTARS since update today

Hi topic pretty much says it. When can we expect a new release or is there any way to fix this?
Really was looking forward to play tonight, but without hud its a pain.

It seems there was a PokerStars update today that broke zoom.

Temporary solution: To revert PokerStars go to your stars install directory and open the "backup folder. By default this is in "C:\Program Files\Pokerstars\backup". Not everyone will have a backup directory, but if it exists you can revert to the previous version of Pokerstars until we release an update to HoldemManager. Copy the files from the backup directory into the C:\Program Files\Pokerstars directory and then run the Pokerstars.exe directly from your PokerStars install directory (DO NOT USE YOUR DESKTOP SHORTCUT). This will allow you to temporarily run the old version of Stars.

Yes I did that. This breaks some functions of the pokerstars client like "show previews hand" and all the handhistorys/replays in the pokerclient itself. I hope we get to see a fix soon, thanks for the reply :)

with the latest built (~17Dec2012.exe) my hud doesnt work properly. i can only see the hud from the last hand played (its not live), what can i do?

(i also wrote in the *stars zoom not working* thread)

I can see the HUD on zoom tables but stats are not for the current hand.
I've tried several builds you mentioned here.
Nothing helped.

i tried every tip in the link but nothing helped, i am sure there is another problem since it works with the backup....

my hud was not working after the stars update, i did what was suggested above and it is now working ok

I am running stars exactly as it mentioned here all the time.
The problem has begun yesterday.

Temporary fix works but the Stars replayer does not work when you revert to the last (backup) version

Any eta on a permanent fix?

On which PokerStars are you playing? PokerStars.EU? In which language are your computer/Windows settings?

After upgrading to the above version, Table Scanner doesn't seem to work anymore. I just see an empty gray background when I click on it.

The update did not work for me, Why am I getting this error message during the install?

"the package was unable to replace the following file:C:\ProgramFiles\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Blitz.dll"

Please help.

Downgrade to http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.01_17Dec2012.exe
Please close your stars client and your HM and replace the file c:\programme\rvg software\holdemmanager\blitz.dll with this one: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13215305/Blitz.dll

This will only work if you used the default Holdemmanager Installation folder. If you used a different folder during the original installation you have to replace the file in your custom installation folder.

Close HM1 and close PokerStars before you run the update.
(or restart your computer before you run the update)
Then run the update again: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.01_17Dec2012.exe

After installing the _17Dec2012.exe update All-in EV no longer displays in results/graphs for SNGs, (hyper 6max SNGs). Was working fine right up until I updated, was previously on 1.12.10b.


This is a known issue. EV is temporary disabled since it was inaccurate in ALL previous versions for hyper turbos'.



There are no tourney summaries also, after installing 17th december update... (stars EU, english client)

In PokerStars--> Options--> Tournament Summary Options: is it checked to save the tournament summaries?

Question was asked because sometimes after update Stars client resets this setting.
Make sure flag "save" ON and files are written in that folder
and folder is in HM autoimport list

Checked that and everythings looks fine, but still some summaries are marked as incomplete (and importing them from stars mail with histories doesn't work) and stoll all of them aren't flaged with tab "SUM" in HM...

yes it's PokerStars 6 (build 6599)
I have HM1 version 1.13.01 Internal
everything is set to run as admin
the only problem I have is the HUD is running one hand behind
any solution?

If that doesn't resolve the Zoom issue, please close your stars client and your HM and replace the file c:\programme\rvg software\holdemmanager\blitz.dll with
