I had to move my database from laptop(broke down) to PC and now having problems with postgre connection. Error when starting HEM " failed to establish connection to 127.0.0.1". I have tried to solve it and searched forum threads, any of then havent help me jet.

http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/8261-still-cant-connect-posgresql-try.html
http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/16726-postgres-will-not-start.html

With clean install, all working fine(without my old \data folder) and postgre service is running. But since i copy my old data folder to postgre directory service could not start.

Bot PC-s are/were using windows 7. Both have/had HEM version 1.11.04. Postgre is running on 8.4 version.

I have uninstalled antivirus software(NOD32), added exeptions to windows firewall, confd hosts file.

If there is any other information needed, i cant post it, but i think my old data is corrupted and cannot be fixed or maybe any1 has solution for it.

Did you follow this FAQ to move the data folder to your new computer?<br />
<a href="http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/71/Reinstall+PostgreSQL+Preserving+Old+Database" target="_blank">FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Reinstall PostgreSQL Preserving Old Database</a><br />
<br />
I think the best is if you start with a fresh postgresql installation, create a new database and reimport all your hands.

run a "import from file" on your archive folder.

run a "import from file" on your archive folder.
I used import files and import from folder, selected my data folder and nothing was imported.

Do you have the handhistory files stored in this folders or subfolders?

HoldemManager can't import raw SQL data.

Run the import from folder on your archive folder.
Default: C:/HMArchive to where the original handhistories are being moved to

Then there is no way to import the hands at the moment.

The only possibility to restore your old database was the FAQ i posted earlier. If that didn't work you need to wait for your laptop.
