The red line for iPoker's Jackpot SNGs looks a lot different compared to normal SNGs. I attached 2 files showing this. The red line for Jackpot SNGs look more like the blue rakeback/bonus line.

If need be, I can provide some files as well. This is true for "Maui" ($6) and "Rio" ($23.50). I haven't played any of the others, but suspect it's the same for "Fort Knox" ($59).

Which HM version are you using? Please try with the latest Beta: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/35199-1-11-05-beta-11-a.html

I just updated to the Beta Version, but the "behavior" of the red line is still the same.

The behaviour is probably normal.
In playing 5000 SNGs... I had a EV line that also would just go UP up and UP... for over 2000 SNGs. It took 5000 SNGs for the two lines to cross again.

Your sample size is too small

I don't think the sample size has anything to do with that. According to the 2. screenshot, I ran EV neutral for more than 30 games. In game 34 I ran below EV and the next 15 games or so, the difference between both lines is exactly the same. And so on.

But in the 1. screenshot, the difference between both lines changes every game - as expected.

Here is a screenshot with a bigger sample size.

And here is another screenshot. The sample size is the same as in the last screenshot, but I removed all games, where I ran above or below EV. In the end, I removed less than 10% of all games. I just cannot believe, that I ran EV neutral for more than 90% of all the Jackpot SNGs I played!

Also see this thread,

http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-bugs/27381-ev-problems-only-ipoker-maui-jackpot-sngs.html

The sturcture of the ipoker jackpot sngs are as follows:

Dirty dozen : 2$ + 0.40$, 12 man (2 tables of 6), Top 4 paid: 50%, 25%, 15%, 10%
Maui : 5$ + 1$, 10 man, Top 3 paid: 50%, 30%, 20%
Rio : 20$ + 3.5$, 6 man, Top 3 paid: 50%, 30%, 20%
Fort Knox: 50$ + 9$, 6 man, Top 3 paid: 50%, 30%, 20%

From the above you will see that the lowest level (dirty dozen) is a two table sng and maybe the reason the ev calculations were not included for these tourneys. The rest however, are single table sngs and should have the correct $ev won amounts.

I only play the Rio's and Fort Knox sngs (6-mans) and whenever you finish in 6th place, you get an $ev won value seems correct. Whenever you finish in 4th or 5th, the $ev won for the tourney is always zero. Whenever you finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd the $ev won value is always equal to the actual amount you won in the tourney.

Looking at the hands, the $ev diff value is always zero for all hands, unless you finish in 6th place.

Please zip and mail the original handhistory files (you find them in the HM archive folder or in the handhistory folder of your poker client) together with the screenshots and a link to this thread and an explanation of the problem to support@holdemmanager.net. We will then try to reproduce the problem.

Recap: $23.50 buyin, 6 handed SNGs.

If you finish in the money 1th, 2th, or 3th place--> No $EV Won is calculated (so your EV matches your winnings)
The same happens, if you finishes out of the money in 4th, and 5th place.

However if you finishes in 6th place $EV Won surprisingly is properly calculated.

(Also in the $5.50 SNGs (also 6 handed) EV is properly calculated)

So the big bug/question is: why isn't HM calculating EV when you finish in 1th to 5th place?
In allin hands the cEV Diff is calculated correctly, but the ICM button is greyed out, preventing a $EV Diff.

This is a bug on our side, I've forwarded the hands to the programmer who will fix this in a future update.

Are you sure, $EV is calculated correctly for 6th place finishes? As far as I can see, it's always either zero or above zero, but never below zero.

And I noticed a similar behaviour for the $6 Jackpot SNG's and these are Full Ring. In this case $EV is equal to your winnings if you finish ITM, always 0.00 for places 4 through 8 and a positive number (or zero) for places 9 and 10.

I'm happy to provide more HHs if needed.

When can we expect the future update that will fix this issue?

Will this update fix our hands already imported? Or will we need to re-import?

Really looking forward to this, it will be a great help to stop me going insane when running bad

When fixed, it will require you to reimport all the hands into a new database.

OK thanks, I know it's not a top priority bug fix but the problem was first highlighted in March 2010.

Any ETA yet? Really thought this would be fixed by now.

having this on your list for over a year and not having it fixed yet is just a shame....

Unbelievable, I'm absolutley speechless. I've checked the pre-release notes for 1.11.07 and still nothing for this. Two years since this was first reported and still going round in circles.
