View Full Version : Holdem manager and hud not working

Hi I´m in trouble with my holdem manager and the hud. I have been playing on both FT and PS but the holdem manager is taking the hands from hand history on those programs and when it imports it gets an error and the hand is gone from hand history folder of FT and PS programs I get the HUD up some times but it shows no stats only names of villains. I have version 1.11.04 I even made a new database but still not working.

Please can some one help me out.

Ok I downloaded the latest beta http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm_1.11.05_Beta.exe and I´l have to test it later this evening if it works or not.

Still does not work. the hud comes up but no data is shown. And my hands do not show in HEM. Language is set to English for the hand history. My windows is XP

1. What version of Holdem Manager are you using?
1.11.05. Beta 10

2. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?
I´m playing on PokerStars and Full Tilt

3. Which type of game(s) are you playing? (NL, FL, Omaha, SnGs, MTT)
NL, SnG´s, Cashgames

4. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?
Yes

5. Often times, it is one setting or option that's not correct in your poker client. Please see our Detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with poker sites to make sure your poker site is saving Hand History files.
It´s setup right as the FAQ says

6. Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the folder that you configured in HM to auto import from.
They do show up and then after I import them they dissapear from hand history folder. And they are written in English

7.If you think the hands are importing the please go to the reports TAB, select your username and run a report with all filters off to confirm they have imported.
Does not show any thing I find my nickname and it says a number of hands but no hands vissible. No filters on.

8. If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database. Done this but does not change any thing.

HUD came up but showed no stats only empty ones.

10. If you open the hand history files, are they written in English?
Yes

11. Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder. It may be just called holdemmanager if youve extenstions turned off.

Is the full tilt client also in english? It has to be in english along with the hands. I had a customer that answered everything the same as you did and when I joined him for remote support all I had to do was change the full tilt > language to English.

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

Hi

My Full Tilt and Poker Stars client are both in English. My windows is in English.

I tried reinstalling both HEM and Postgre but still it does not work.
Created a new database.

Got the new 1.11.05. Beta 11 installed but does not change any thing.

Don't have a firewall :o

Filter > Clear and then Filter > Use for all. Also try enabling the Options > Settings... > Miscellaneous > [x] Auto apply filter changes to all tabs

Try the table finder again - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Configuring Table Finder to Show HUD (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/Configuring+Table+Finder+to+Show+HUD+)


Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK



If you still cant get the HUD working, please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot - Capture a Screen Shot of your Desktop or the Active Window in Windows (http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm)

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
4) The "\rvg software\holdem manager\importing\hud data" folder AND the '\hem data' folder.

Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

To fix this you just need to change your Windows Regional Settings. Go to the Control Panel and open the Regional and Language Options and select English as the "Current Format".

This just tells Windows to use the . as a decimal separator when it parses numbers, and uses english date format.

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files(x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config. If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager.

Wow So simple it was set to english usa and all I had to do was to select english uk and back to english usa and it workes. Thank you for your help.
