Hi everyone,

to increase HMImport speed and since I wanted to start a new database anyway, I installed postgreSQL 8.4 (so far using 8.3). After default (i guess) installation procedure of postgreSQL 8.4, I created a new database, started HEM and played some hands.

Now, as I am looking for my old database (to backup and reimport some old hands, notes, etc) I can not find it anymore. Neither pgadmin nor HEM-> database maintenace shows the database anymore. Where the **** is it gone?!?

Appreciate any help! And yeah, meanwhile I know I should have sticked with 8.3!

Regards,
simon

8.3 and 8.4 are not compatible with each other.

So either reinstall SQL 8.3
Or reimport all your hands into a NEW SQL 8.4 database.

Both SQL versions can be downloaded from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org)

Kind regards,
