update to http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm_1.11.05_Beta.exe

HoldemManager won't move the files to the archive folder, until after 30 minutes or having the auto import run.

If you want to reimport hands, manually MOVE them to a different folder first.
If you want to hands to be moved to the archive folder, leave the auto import running for 30 minutes.

You can change the session duration time by
Open holdemmanager.conf with notepad (and rightclick open notepad with run as administrator)

and change this to x minutes (where x is value between 1 and 30)

<setting name="SessionTimeoutDuration">30</setting>

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Beta.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

I'd turn off Windows User Account control completely and reboot

When editing the file, rightclick-open it with notepad with administrator privileges.

update to http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Beta.exe

run a "import from folder" on the files instead of the auto import
