hi there,

first of all i want to say, that i used Postgres before for PT2 but an older version like 5 or something. So I decided to unstall the old Postgres, an Install the new Version 8.3

I followed the instructions you gave until the last window, when the following Errormessage comes:

"Data directory error
The specified data directory is not empty.
If you have an exisiting database with the same major version number, you do not need to initialise a database cluster.
If you have an exisiting database with the same major version number you need to backup your old database and create a new one"

i searched in Google, found this site:
http://rvgsoftware.com/communityserver/forums/p/1832/1832.aspx

and a person "Roy" said, i should uncheck the Database Cluster Checkbox and it should be fine. I did that and completet the registration.

Now I startet HM, and during the first Window the following ErrorMessage Occures:

perhaps its because i have some old Postgres DATA "spooking" around in my computer, how can I uninstall this completely?

I am using Windos XP

Please follow this FAQ exactly as its shown, this is due to a program on your systme causing a conflict with PostgreSQL accessing files: http://208.109.95.123/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=164

I deinstalled PostgreSQL again, and installed again,
I destinalled HM and reinstalled it.

not working, my trial lasts 13 days longer, if its not working until the end, im going to buy Pokertracker 3.

When you have all the programs uninstalled completely like i mentioned then PM me to setup a www.teamviewer.com session and ill have a look however it is one of those things i mentioned so ill just be retrying what i mentioned in the FAQ.
