I don't like 2- and 3-handed HHs cluttering up my DB with super-short-handed / heads-up stats.

I know that you can configure the HUD to only display stats from hands with a user-specified # of players, but my issue is that i don't even want them in my DB at all.

How can I purge hands with, say, fewer than 5 players being dealt cards from my DB?
(if a PURGE, strictly speaking, isn't possible, I would be fine with EXPORTING all hands with fewer than 5 players and re-importing them into a different DB...)

There is no purge option to delete hands with less than x players involved.

To export hands selectively you can use filter reports and export them via right mouse key on the hands:

OK, not a problem, as long as you can walk me through how to use the filtering process you describe below, which I'm still not sure is the complete solution...

This doesn't work, though, because my DB contains a lot of datamined hands and both the HANDS tab and the REPORTS tab make you select a player to run the query/report against, and that's no good because as I said, only a small fraction of the hands in my DB did I actually play in. To illustrate, let's say my screename is domino66...if I go to the HANDS tab, it makes me select a player, so I select domino66, and I can change the filter to have it show me all of the hands that domino66 played that have 5-6 players, but given that perhaps only 10% of the hands in my DB are ones that I actually played in myself, that "solution" doesn't really work. I want to export all hands from my DB that have 5-6 players regardless of who played in them and I have yet to figure out how to do that...

I understand - in this case there is no solution in the program.

The only way would be a custom sql statement but this is something we don't officially support. You may find solutions in this forum area: Custom Reports - Holdem Manager Forums (http://forums.holdemmanager.com/custom-reports/)
