The "&" is not fixed in the last HM1 update, we're still working on a fix.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates./

Have you tried removing/replacing kaspersky for a session/day to make sure it is not the cause?

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with holdem manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/275/Windows+Firewall+%7B47%7D+Defender+Problems
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows (http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/)

AVG Free AntiVirus or Avira Free Antivirus are good options, but their 'internet security' bundles/suites are not.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and attach a short video using Jing, screenshot and screencast software from TechSmith (http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html) or Screencast-O-Matic - Free online screen recorder for instant screen capture video sharing. (http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/)

If the video is too big for email you can share it via screencast and send us a link to watch it.

Please email the video/link, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

1) The KIS is the pro version , i buy it , so i don want to uninstall because is better than a free AntiVirus .
3 ) I install the internal beta that Patvs tell me in the post #2 , is ok ?
4 ) I have the firewall of the KIS , and i added the exceptions too

I was just suggesting that you uninstall it temporarily to make sure it isn't somehow causing the problems. Did the update that Pat posted solve your problems? It sounded like it solved some of your problems but you still had other issues:

Just to be clear: You are playing Zoom, right? You have disabled the hero hud in the HUD options but it shows up for the first few hands at a table and the other hud positions are wrong? Then it corrects itself after a few hands? This indicates to me that you might have mis-configured the auto import folders and/or the HUD options?

Are the hands now showing up in the database with the proper time stamp? Do the hands show up on the Acctive Session tab when playing?

I think the easiest thing might be to have you schedule a remote support session instead of us going back and forth further in this thread.

Please email support@holdemmanager.com, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Please let us know when you are available in GMT time for a teamviewer session - GMT – Greenwich Mean Time (http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbreviations/timezones/eu/gmt.html)

Please remember that we schedule a couple days in advance and need to fit into our schedules. So give us a few days' range of times and notice.

Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.com/teamviewer.

Please read this important information before our teamviewer session. We cannot do the teamviewer session until all those issues are addressed below:
1 - Make sure you have updated your windows using the "Windows Update" feature Microsoft Windows Update (http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/thanks.aspx?ln=en&&thankspage=5)
* - Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer 9 (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).
2 - Make sure Holdem Manager is updated to the latest version Downloads and Manuals - Hold'Em Manager, Omaha Manager & HM Apps (http://www.holdemmanager.com/store/downloads-manuals.php)
3 - Please make sure you have access to a good connection, we cannot provide support on really slow connections
4 - Please allow us full access otherwise it slows down the speed at which we can fix the issue

Yes , i am playing Zoom , i disabled the Hero in Hud , but sometimes , when i open tables , the HUD of Hero appears and the other huds are in wrongs positions . And then correct itstel after 2-3 hands . The autoimport folders and hud options is ok , and all the hands shows correctly in active session .

I will mail to support then

Try disabling the KIS firewall. (just as a test if it improves the issue)

In fact disable the KIS firewall, so you can enable the Windows Firewall to set exception to that too. (set exception to the Windows Firewall even if it's disabled!)
