Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm_1.11.05_Beta.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Run a Windows Update and install all updates

This is a known bug but we have no solution or workaround for it.

Just to say if not already known...
I had this sound problem with my last configuration Win XP SP3 and still got it with a clean installation Win 7 64 Home premium. Can't see any difference if I have AV or the firewall enabled or not. In this config I use Avast. Sound is Realtek HD with latest driver for win 7 64. It is the same motherboard as I had with my Win XP installation. (Asus M4A78-EM)
The sound is getting muted after a few hands and then it comes back for a few hands from time to time...
Please advice!

Please try to run the Ongame client as administrator too.

Thanks for the fast reply!<br />
I changed the ongame client .exe file to be runned as admin aswell, but it didn't help. (My version is 1.11.05 Beta 7)

I'll forward this to our Hud developer but i don't think there is anything else we can do.

I think it is an Ongame bug caused by having a window on top of the table. You can work around it by using the hud options->table prefs->force on top mode, but we don't have a fix.

Yes with the force ontop enabled it works almost flawless. Last session it muted for mayby 5-10 hands after 200 hands (could been when I closed some tables), but then the last 500 went without problem. Before I was hapy if I had sound 5-10 hands for every 100 played...
