I ran defrag yesterday.

Today, postgress service would not start.

I went through the steps posted elsewherer here to no avail.

So, I deinstalled postgress and reinstalled holdem manager. I though about just reintalling postgress, but I figured HM would need to configure it, so I went for the whole shooting match.

Well, its fixed, but I lost all my past data, table settings, everything.

I don't suppose someone has some magic to reimport stuff left laying about? I didnt think a deinstall of postgres, nor a reinstall of HM would lose my data and/or HM settings?

If you uninstall postgresql your data are still on the harddisk but a new installation will not use this data.

You need to uninstall postgresql again (only postgresql, not holdemmanager).
After this download postgresql from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org) and install it following this faq: FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Reinstall PostgreSQL Preserving Old Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/71/Reinstall+PostgreSQL+Preserving+Old+Database)
