View Full Version : Effective stack filter doesn't work properly

I was trying to analyze one villian and his adaptations against short players but effective stack filter seems bugged. I have one hand against him with 40bb's and the filter only saws it if I set less than 100bb's.

I've just tested now and also works wrong.

I attach you the handhistory of one hand where I have 35bb's. I select villian player to see reports and filter 3bet preflop done, the hand is filtered fine. Then I add effective stack less than 50bb's in example and the hand dissapears.

I have forwarded this issue to our bugs department for further investigation. It will be tested in the order in which it was received. We will reply back in this thread with our findings.

Filtering for effective stack seems fine as There is player in this hand w2t13 with 184.85 $, so that's why the effective stack for villain mynameisluck is 92 BBs while for Hero it is 36BBs,

uHM, but this player folded preflop. Pretty useless filter with that behavior....

It should consider only players with at least some VPIP in the hand, or maybe do another stat. As it is now I only could see it for HU analysis...

The problem with that is, if you're doing analysis like how often a player folds/calls/raises in a tourney when they're short, you'll want to see when they don't vpip as well.

This is one of those things where everyone wants something different, and we have to compromise and make it for the most people.

Ok, I understand your approach. Maybe something like "vsEffectiveStack" filter could be fine.

I suppose that I could do some analysis with notecaddy, but it's more slow and tedious than a filter.

Im playing Cashgames and i tried to use the filter "Effective stack in bbs is...." and i took between 20-65.
The results being that im playing 92/77/47 (vpip,pfr,3b). And insane winnings aswell. So something is definitly wrong with this..

Would appreciate a fix for this issue.
