I installed the 1.11.04 update last evening and had HM working fine.

Tonight I installed A java update along with a HP security update and have been receiving this error.



I have installed the internal update and removed and re installed the .net framework based on other posts. I also removed the prefs.xml file. Still no luck.

Any other suggestions?

I would like to be able to back up my note file before doing a complete reinstall of HM. The hud setup is much less valuable.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm_1.11.05_Beta.exe



It's save to do the completely reinstall using the full installer.. just DON'T reinstall SQL.

Only reinstall HoldemManager... your notes are savely saved INSIDE the SQL database.

No luck with the .05beta

Windows 7 64-bit home premium. Avast Anti-Vir 5.0.594. 2-wire router firewall. No system firewall.

Gonna hold off on doing a full install till morning.

Based on the advice that someone posted in a separate thread, I went in and removed all the Win7 security updates. Seems to be working fine.

Looks liker there is a significant conflict with the latest round of updates from Microsoft.

Glad I put off the reinstall. ;)
