Hi.

I have a big problem at the moment. Today I had to format my computer, so I removed everything from the HDD where I had my OS (Win XP) and reinstalled. Now when I try to run HM it doesn't work, it gives me the usual "failed to establish connection to 127.0.0.1".
As stated in the topic title, I haven't reinstalled neither HM nor PostGres, those were on my other HDD that I haven't formated.

The reason it doesn't start, I suspect is that PostGres isn't running at all, because it had some settings attached to my old OS. How do I make it start and is that even problem?

Thanks in advance.

You need to reinstall postgresql, download the same version as you had previously installed from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org).
And during the installation you need to connect to your old data folder: FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Reinstall PostgreSQL Preserving Old Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/71/Reinstall+PostgreSQL+Preserving+Old+Database)
