As said in thread title...please fix it fast!

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

save your HUD (by exporting it)
--> run the full 93 mb installer again (don't reinstall SQL) and create a NEW database

My OS is Vista Home Premium Edition 32-bit, Avira antivirus and Comodo Firewall.

The files are started as a administrator. Always have been.

Now are you really saying that I have to create a new database which I just did couple of days ago?

It's about 12 million hands and 4 DAYS!

Oh yes and please give this more of thought than just copy paste same answer that you are giving to other problems. 4 days for me not playing costs me money.

Which screen resolution are you playing?
Is the replayer just not starting or do you see the replayer icon in the taskbar but no window?

Please attach the file config\holdemmanager.config

I have two monitors. Primary is 1680x1050 and secondary is 1920x1080.

Replayer won't start at all. Not even the windows loading symbol appear.

Config file is attached to this reply.

Please close HM and open the file config\holdemmanager.config in a texteditor like notepad.

There is a line with the parameter
ReplayerSettings.

Please replace it with the following:

<setting name="ReplayerSettings">3,True,True,True,True, 0, 0, 640, 480</setting>

Save the file and restart HM. If it still doesn't work you'll need to uninstall/reinstall Holdemmanager.

It doesn't work...

So you have any trick in your sleeve that I don't have to import allover again those 12 million hands.

I just did it before this damn "update" and it took 4 days. I even had to woke up middle of my sleep to put a new bulk importing.

How can I trust you that this doesn't happen again?

Patvs

Can you create a new database.. and only reimport 1 hand.... not all 12 million.
And see if you can replay that 1 hand with the replayer?

Can you please try to downgrade to a previous release to see whether its in the version or in the configuration?

Download 1.11.03 from this thread: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/30576-1-11-04-official-release.html

Before installing the version please close HM and all your pokerclients and delete the files holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe

I think we need to take a look at your installation.
Please schedule a remote support session with our support. Email support@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread and your forum name, so we can setup a Teamviewer (http://www.holdemmanager.net/teamviewer) session.

Same thing with my HEM as Zing's...downgrading it to 1.11.03. gets replayer working again.

So I'm going to schedule a support session aswell.

any simple solutions yet?
same problem - 1.11.0 works but 1.11.04 and 1.11.05 don't.

I made some more tests with the replayer and i found another possible solution:
1. close HM
2. create a backup copy of the file config\holdemmanager.config
3. open the original file in a texteditor like notepad
4. delete the 2 lines with the following settings:
setting name="ReplayerSettings" ...
and
setting name="ReplayerSkinToUse....
5. save and exit
6. restart HM. The lines in the config file will be recreated.
7. Test the replayer again. If it still doesn't work you need to reinstall HM with a fresh configuration.

does not seem to do anything..

Did you have the support session and it was not solved?

I had another user where renaming the config subfolder and reinstalling HM with a fresh configuration fixed it.

was told to try a uninstall using revo and a clean reinstall which didn't solve anything.

a team viewer session was deemed pointless as you have no idea how to fix it.

My OS is Vista Home Premium Edition 32-bit, Avira antivirus and Comodo Firewall.
.......

It looks like Comodo seems to be the common theme. Fool had a support session yesterday where uninstalling comodo solved it.

Try setting program exceptions in Comodo for C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version) - HoldemManager.exe, HMHud.exe, DBControlPanel.exe, and HMImport.exe.

If that doesnt help with the replayer issues, can you please try to uninstall comodo firewall, and restart your computer. I suggest using the free version of revo uninstaller to uninstall programs.

After it is uninstalled and you have restarted, turn on your windows firewall and try using the holdem manager replayer.

Please uninstall HEM using Revo Uninstaller: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/126/Using+Revo+Uninstaller+

After completion please reboot your computer and download and install the full installer from our homepage. Please make sure that the postgresql option is disabled during the installation.

Which error do you get?

The replayer still wont open. And I get no error# or anything. Its critical, since I always "bookmark" around 30-40 hands each session for making notes and analyzing it. What to do?

Run a manual Windows Update. Install ALL updates.
Turn off UAC: How to Disable and Turn Off UAC in Windows 7 « My Digital Life (http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/30/how-to-disable-and-turn-off-uac-in-windows-7/)
Install HoldemManager to a different folder (not to a Program Files/ subfolder!) with the full installer @ Hold'Em Manager Poker Software - Poker Tracking and Analysis Software (http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdem-manager-setup.exe)

Don't downgrade to 1.11.03/1.11.04.

1.11.06g is the last stable release.

1. Windows is full up to date
2. UAC was turned off a year ago
3. Still doesnt work into a new dir.

A replayer still doesnt pop up.

By the way,.... you never purged hands right? You can't replay a hand if you purged the hands.
