HEM dont starts

Tried to open up hem but it did'nt. Installed the latest patch 1.12.11 but hem dont start!
Should i just wait? My database is over 1 million hands!

The update runs a database update which may need more than 10 minutes if your database is large or your computer slow. Just let it run overnight and make sure to have enough free space on your HDD.

If you can't get past that error you may need to create a new database and import your original hands to rebuild your database.

Manually run the \rvg software\holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe > connect > create new database

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

and finally:

Once the Hands are imported you can import the Tourney Results and Bonuses/Rakeback

Please do not cross-post your replies to 2+2 if we are dealing with the problem here. I replied to this post earlier at 2+2 but I didn't realize the 15 hours wait you were referring to was for the database update process so I probably replied with some things that weren't relevant to your issues mentioned here.

You will need to end the process via the task manager, roll back to an older build, create a new database, update to the latest build, and then manually import the original hands from your archive to the new database as suggested above to rebuild the database manually. It sounds like that will take less time than waiting for the database update at this point.
