View Full Version : Graph/Reports/Hands dont work [HM1]

Ive updated HM1 to newest version, i guess 1.12.10b so Zoom works properly. And so the Zoom works, but i cant see anything in Reports/Graph/Hands tab.. My database seems to work, and there is shown there are hand in my database, but when i press refresh on any tab nothing happens.

In one older version everything draws properly, but i need a working HM + zoom version I guess

Please update to this version:

Add:

- holdemmanager
- hmimport
- hmhud
- all of the easyhook, blitz.dll files and the stars/stars inject files in the hm program files folder - - For windows firewall, you will have to type in the names of these files.
- pokerstars.exe file
- postgres and pg_ctl files from postgres\bin

to your exceptions in your firewall and antivirus.

Make sure all are running as administrator.

If this doesn't work, we'll set up a teamviewer session. Please email support@holdemmanager.com with a description of the issue and a log file

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem, describe exactly what you were doing, and attach your blitzerror file -

Didnt help. Anyway I noticed when I run HM there is "Importer initializing" and there's no text "Please start auto import" or smth like that. It dissapears. I even created new database and try this but it doesnt work. Importing works well, it tracks my new hands. But just doesnt show in HM

Even turned off antivirus+firewall but still nothing

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.12.11_12Oct2012.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin"from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates./

Windows 7, Avast

I uninstalled avast, made all run as admin, turned off UAC and still nothing.

I payed for this program and i want it to run properly without devasttaing my protection .... -.-

Are you using the Avast Antivirus or their complete Internet Security program with a firewall? I don't think anyone suggested you uninstall it yet, just set exceptions in the security software for the poker programs which is fairly standard. I personally have never had good luck with Avast programs on my machine or on customer machines when performing remote support sessions so I would suggest you leave it uninstalled and replace it.


Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with holdem manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/275/Windows+Firewall+%7B47%7D+Defender+Problems
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows (http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/)

That is all the security I have on both of my personal computers (that are online 24/7) for the past 72 months.

AVG Free AntiVirus or Avira Free Antivirus are good options, but their 'internet security' bundles/suites are not.

If you feel the need to pay for security I would suggest ESET NOD or Kaspersky.


Regarding your reports/database problem: Have you tried testing a new database yet?

Go to Filter > Clear and then Filter > Use for all. Also try enabling the Options > Settings... > Miscellaneous > [x] Auto apply filter changes to all tabs.

If you continue to have problems:

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/372/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+Tips

NOTING WORKED.
Removed all and everything - sql/antivirus/hm.
Installed again(without anti virus), and still DOESNT WORK. Hands are importing properly, hud working properly but still cant see ANYTHING in tabs. Is it so hard to create a program that draws something?

Did you try creating a new database like I suggested?

I am sorry for the problems. I did not think of this possibility. This happens very rarely when updating where it changes the game type selection so I didn't think to suggest checking that filter.
