Played on which site?

update to http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate_1.11.04_Internal.exe and reimport the hand into a new database.
Please post the original (unedited) handhistory...

It was played on Ongame, HM version 1.11.03. It was strange situation when I just called reraise allin from shortstack to get money and postflop heads up from big stack. That is why it was taken as a flop allin by Holdemmanager, even when I was preflop allin against shortstack's threes. Therefore I could not badbeat him with my aces and have such negative EV. It is more like suggestion what to improve in Allin EV.

This is, what I found in original history log file:

HM sees the allin on the flop... (when JimLaheyTPB folds) and you didn't have the best hand anymore.

----------

To clarify the problem.
Lets suppose you had QQ. The shortstack had 33. JimLaheyTPB had KK.
Flop comes A3x.

Shortstack is allin preflop.
JimLaheyTPB has the best hand preflop.
Betting continues ON the flop between you and JimLaheyTPB.
You make JimLaheyTPB FOLD (because you're representing the A on the flop)

---> what's your EV diff? It will be EV diff. -$20.59
HM will correctly view this as an allin ON the flop (not preflop), because:
-1 JimLaheyTPB and you continued the betting
-2 Maybe JimLaheyTPB had the best hand preflop....
--> therefore if we don't get to see JimLahebTPB's hand, NO preflop allin calculation CAN be made.

-----

It's irrelevant you had the best hand preflop... and it may look really weird for this ONE hand because you had AA. But it's the most fair way (longterm) to calculate the EV.

This is not a bug, this is the only way you can calculate your expected income vs what you actually got, without introducing biases in the calculation.
