View Full Version : Pacific Poker HUD Problem

Hi.
Recently i reinstalled windows and HM1 . But now i have a problem with the HUD . The hands are imported properly , the table manager is running but the hud don't work on the tables . For pokerstars the HUD is running but for Pacific Poker no . Any ideea why ? I tryed to reinstall HM , made sure to run the program as administrator but its still not working for pacific . I got the latest version 1.12.10b

Please post a screenshot of a table and the tablemanager and please attach your holdemmanager.config file from c:\program files(x86)\rvg software\holdem manager\config folder (or something similar depending on your installation). it may be just called holdemmanager if you've extensions turned off.

Can you delete D:\HandHistory,and D:\HH as auto import folders.

Hi!

I have the exact same problem! Hud works fine on stars and worked fine on 888 a month ago with UAC turned ON. So thats not the problem. Hands imported, table manager sees the tables, i can drop the red X to them, and it shows the hud for one hand then it frezess. Software's la

Hi!

I have the exact same problem, on 888poker! Hands imported, table manager sees the tables, i can drop the red X to them, and it shows the hud for one hand then it frezess.

Is there any solutions to this problem?

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin"from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

Delete the file Program Files/RVG Software/HoldemManager/Config/exenames.txt

I updated . Its working for 1 hand if i use table finder than it freezes .

Played on 2\4 cents table right now under 11 nov build (link above) - all is OK, HUD works, no need to use Tfinder.

So:
- disable UAC
- uninstall antivirus\firewall (not only disable, but uninstall) (*)
- set all EXEs in HM install folder to run "as admin". All EXEs you find there.
- do the same with poker client EXE
- create a folder in the root of disk C, name it
PacificHands (or else)
and set THIS filder in poker client to save files, and set the same this folder in HM autoimport list

(*) If you have McAfee - even uninstalling is not enough, you should use this tool (http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe)to completelly remove McAfee

I can't get this to work on the cash PLO tables on 888.com.

I have OM1-pro (1.12.10b) W7

I have set table finder (pacific) and it see's the table, I then have to tell it its a 6-max table and then the HUD appears but its slightly opaque (not set that way) and the stat blocks don't change with the hands played, they just remain the same as when 1st appearing.

What am I doing wrong ??

hud options--> player preferences--> use for tab: Make sure they're no overlapping/conflicting settings between the HUD configurations.
For example: you're making changes to a HUD configuration assigned to PokerStars, but the "default"HUD is assigned to äny site"(äny site"will include PokerStars, so then this HUD will be shown instead of the HUD configuration you're making changes to)

hud options--> player preferences--> appearance tab: check if the opaque settings aren't set to a different HUD Configuration.

I have exactly the same problem, Hud works on Pokerstars, FTP, works on Pacific SNG, but doesn't work on Pacific cash tables.

Right, I see what you're saying about "default" - so I left it as default rather than pacific, HUD is not opaque anymore but it is still not moving off "1 hand" being played, I applied update (thanks) - I can see the "import" importing the files but neither the table manager nor the HUD is updating the hands. When I go to cash games> hands I can see the hands I've just played but the HUD is not updating, extremely frustrating.

help ?

Try reimporting your hands into a new empty database: Options--> Database Management--> Connect--> Create New Database--> (set it as default)--> Start HoldemManager

I did all what you wrote but still doesnt working. Are you working on this ? HUD on pacific doesnt work. When i try choose tables with TableFinder i have hud for 1hand later hud doesnt refreshing hands and its stopped

Ive the same problem. Hands are imported to the HEM but no HUD. if i manually select the table i can get HUD for hands ive already played but its not updating .. to get new hands i have to manually find the table after evry single hand .. ive tried this 11 and 16 november relase. i made the c:\888 hands\ folder and changed it in hem .. evtything is running as admin .. no antivirus or firewall

Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK, then Yes.

I removed 12,poker.exe. Also i didnt see the table so i draged the red X to the table. Then the table was listed in table manager and hud came. But it only showed hands what were already played. HUD was not automatically updating. evry time i drag this red x it show the hands ive already played but it is not updating .. i have to do this after evry single hand. this aint normal. Ive tried 1.12.11 internal versio ( both of these november releases) and 1.12.10b. evrything is running as admin

if i remove that 12,poker.exe ill get this message if i drag these red x to the table

I click yes and the stats come to the table but they do not auto update themselves. also another anomally i noticed that im not able to change the hud position on tha table. i mean if i click my right mouse button i cant move the hud box.

e: now my hud dissapears after evdy hand and i have to manually find i via table finder lol

there is definately smth fcked up with hem .. when youre going to fix it?

We have a ticket written up for this in HM2. The problem is caused by the new tables that Pacific released recently.

HM2 is our focus right now. Once we get our next HM2 release out the door we will start working on the HM1 issues. I can not give an ETA for our next release of HM1 since it relies on us first releasing HM2.

According to the HM2 ticket mentioned in this thread these are 'new' tables that Pacific recently added. If this is something easy for us to fix in HM1 we will try to get it fixed once we fix the problem in HM2, but in general HM1 only receives critical fixes to existing features going forward so I can't be certain if/when this will get fixed for HM1. If these are in fact 'new' tables they wouldn't necessarily fit you into our definition of 'existing features'. We will continue to support the HM1 parser, table scanner, and will also address any other critical bugs in HM1. This will be ongoing for an extended period of time but we have not yet established a firm date.

We are working on the fix for HM2 but I can't give an ETA for when it will be fixed as we are in the middle of a major update with the new datagrid and ftp relaunch fixes. Once it is fixed for HM2 we will decide if it can also easily be fixed for HM1.

i have my hands saved in this location C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\PacificPoker\HandHis tory\..gad..

Do you have any idea how can i solve this problem? And if this problem is related to the new update on pacific network or it is just me having this problem?
Is maybe this problem related with these dots in my nickname?

I have tryed this but it still doesnt work. But i have tryed to open one of the hand files in this file C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\PacificPoker\HandHis tory\..gad.. and i cant open the file. It writes me http://shrani.si/f/c/7i/xdmX0sx/pacific-troubles-2.gif
but if i copy this file on lets say deteskop i can open the file. Does anyone know why?

FYI: You are posting your HM2 issues in an HM1 thread.

This is probably a permissions issue. Have you tried changing the pacific client to save the hands to a new folder such as C:\pacifichands ? This will probably be easier than setting permissions.

To verify/change permissions: You need to make sure that this folder*, as well as c:\hm2archive, c:\hmarchive and your site's hand history folder are each not read only** and that all permissions are set to full for your user name. ***

We have fixed it in HM2 but I do not have an ETA for when we will get this fixed in HM1.
