View Full Version : new database?

i fired up my hm tonite and it said that i needed to start a new database and now when i turn it on the "connect to PostgreSQL" screen pops up. why would this happen and what should i do? ive been using the db since october when i had it freshly installed on my new pc. help.

Is your postgresql Service running?

service is running. no new updates were installed. should i download the combo installer? this is very wierd to me, it was working fine 5 hrs earlier in the day. will i lose my database?

ok, so i tried to log on using local system acct which didnt work so i tried to go back to log on as "this acct" but when i click apply it says enter a valid password. the password is still in the box and i dont know what it is.
