No audio on any of the videos....

I can't get any audio to work on any of the videos I download, and I know that they have worked for me fine in the past. I have tried it in windows media player, windows classic media player, and real player....has they same problem in all apps, and all my other audio sounds is working fine. Checked everything in sound controls, can't find anything that would stop it, then tried a different wmv file and it works fine.

Actually, I tried just about all of them, none of them work.

I figured it out. You guys had me "Disable System Effects" in my sound options. When I enable this back, I have sound in the applications already mentioned. I can't believe I figured this out, but at least I know now.

I wonder why it does it only to your videos and not others.

Thanks for this but i have no idea what could be causing this and i remember no one else reporting this so it seems to be something special with your windows installation.
