View Full Version : Rush tables: HUD pop-up only works at 1 table

Hey there,

I recently found out that my HUD pop-up has some bugs. When I play at 2 Rush tables at Full Tilt Poker, I can see my HUD at both tables, but the pop-up you get when clicking on the stats only works at one of them. At the other table, nothing happens when I click on my HUD stats.

Is there any way to fix this?

I found out that I can somehow fix this issue by using Table Preferences -> Force Ontop + Active Table Only. The downside is, that I can now only see my HUD on the active table, so I don't see any stats on the table that is not active. This is somewhat annoying, so I hope there's a better solution.

To see the Hud on all tables with "Force on top" please uncheck table preferences -> force on top -> active table only.

Which HM version are you using? We made some improvements for the Rush Hud with the latest releases.

Yes, I did realize that the option Active Table Only fixed only part of the problem, but gave me a new problem: I only got the HUD no one table, and when I activate the other table, I only got the HUD there and it was gone at the other table. No big deal, but somewhat annoying. So, I turned that off again, but then I only got 1 table with popup stats.

I might have to update my HEM. I see that I only got version 1.10.06, way off from the recent version I see. So HEM does not update automatically, is that right? I have to update manually?

I updated my HEM using the link you gave me, but it's only getting worse. I now only have a HUD at one of the two Rush tables I play at, and nothing on the other. Or I can use Active Table only, and then it works fine, but only on the active table obviously, which is not what I want. I now also don't have a HUD on PokerStars anymore, for some reason.

What should I do?

* Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure that holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe, dbcontrolpanel.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu under compatibilty.

I checked the 3 files you mentioned and they all run as administrator already.

I checked the FAQ and filled in these questions:

1. What version of Holdem Manager are you using?
1.11.04, the one you linked me to

2. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?
It occurs on Full Tilt Rush tables and now also on the PokerStars tables (only rooms I play at right now)

3. Which type of game(s) are you playing? (NL, FL, Omaha, SnGs, MTT)
Rush NL on FullTilt and MTT on PokerStars

4. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?
Yes

5. Often times, it is one setting or option that's not correct in your poker client. Please see our Detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with poker sites to make sure your poker site is saving Hand History files.
Checked, all done

6. Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the folder that you configured in HM to auto import from.
Hands are correctly being saved

7. If you think the hands are importing the please go to the reports TAB, select your username and run a report with all filters off to confirm they have imported.
Confirmed

8. If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database. They are in my database, but won't show in my HUD

Never used the Holdem Manager Table Finder before

10. If you open the hand history files, are they written in English?
Yes

11. Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder. It may be just called holdemmanager if youve extenstions turned off.

How should I send you my config file? Should I post the content of the file as a reply to this thread? It's quite a lot of text really.

You need to change your auto-import configuration.

The archive folder may not be in the same structure as an autoimport folder.

It is not possible to use "D:\Poker\PokerStars HandHistory Folder\Henkie1959\Henkie1959" as archive. You should create a new folder - but not in the same path as the handhistories of the pokerclients or use the default one c:\hmarchive.

"D:\Poker\PokerStars HandHistory Folder\Henkie1959\Henkie1959", that's the place where PokerStars saves my handhistories, and where Holdem Manager gets the handhistories from to save them in its database. I don't see why that is not possible.

I don't really understand where and how I should change this, and what the effect would be. And then again, that has nothing to do with my Full Tilt Rush problems either.

All I can find is "click here to add auto import folders", where I should add all the folders where the pokerclients save their handhistories, right?

The ARCHIVE folder can't be a subfolder of the import folder, or you create a LOOP which crashes the auto import.

So let Stars save the hands to: D:\Poker\PokerStars HandHistory Folder
Set the import folder to: D:\Poker\PokerStars HandHistory Folder +subfolders
(don't add /Henkie1959/Henkie1959)
Then set the archive folder to D:\Poker\My Hands or D:\HMArchive


Full Tilt RUSH problems: update to http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate_1.11.04_Internal.exe
hud options--> site options--> turn on the OCR for Full Tilt

For Full Tilt make sure it uses the SAME archive folder as PokerStars

Hello Patvs,

Thanks for helping.

I now only need to find out where I can change my Archive folder. The thing is, my auto import does never crash, it's just a HUD problem. Importing goes just fine.

I have already updated to 1.11.04 before, and saw some new options, like the OCR. I'm not sure what combination of options I should use regarding Force Ontop, Active Table Only, OCR, etc. I will try the OCR.

So, where can I change the archive folder in HEM?

Where you add/change the import folders--> click edit--> and the second line of the archive folder

Hello everyone,

It's been some time since I replied here about my problems. I still could not fix this, even after changing the folders en paths for importing and archiving.

I made a couple of screenshots about my settings aswell, maybe that will help. I will also add the new config file, after changing the paths.

My Table Preferences Settings:

Please update to 1.11.05 Beta 1 http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm_1.11.05_Beta.exe
and uncheck site options->ftp->ocr

Hey netsrak,

I updated to 1.11.05 Beta as you said, and on Full Tilt I can now play multiple Rush tables with a working HUD.

On the other hand, on PokerStars and now also William Hill, I can't seem to get it working right. When I play 8 tables FL at PokerStars, I see a HUD at 3 of them.

What settings should I use for PokerStars now?

This should work with the same settings as before as it has nothing to do with the OCR technique we used for Rush.

Which type of game are you playing on stars and William Hill?

Please attach the file config\holdemmanager.config.

I keep trying different settings while playing on PokerStars, but I can't get it working right.

At PokerStars I play Fullring Fixed Limit tables and at William Hill I mix some Fullring and Shorthanded Fixed Limit and/or No-Limit tables. So just the regular cashgame tables.

I attached my config file again.

Not sure whether it helps but please define your hero screennames under Hud options->setup hero names

If that doesn't help i think we need to take a look at your installation.

I added my screennames in Hold'em Manager, but nothing changed really.

I sent an e-mail to the support, so hopefully they can help me with the rest of the issues.

I haven't heard back from them yet. How long does it normally take for them to arrange this Teamviewer session?
