I have this problem where I write a note, then save it and like 2 seconds later, then HUD stats change and the note disappears. It's just after a hand, you know before the next hand starts.

It's really really annoying.

I play on Stars with nova theme and have 1.12.10b

thanks

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

UAC sounds important. are there no security related draw backs from disabling it?

Your antivirus and firewall will show in the list of installed programs.

UAC is of questionable importance. Personally, I'm just super tilted by "this program wants to blah blah blah" popup EVERY time I open a program. Turning it off is the first thing I do if I have to reinstall Windows.

any idea what they might be called?

Default firewall is Windows Firewall:
Windows--> Control Panel--> Windows Firewall

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Hi,

For HM1 you will find them in C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)

Thanks

I go into my x86 folder and find RVG then holdem manager but I cant find the hudfunapp.exe file

I think I found the holdemmanager.exe, its just the holdem manager symbol and you look at properties and it says file type .exe?

I also looked in the firewall. its just windows firewall and there is no holdem manager files listed on the firewall

For HM1, make sure \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator.

(ignore the hudfunapp.exe file.. that's a HM2 file)

It's in the C:/Program Files(x86)/RVG Software/HoldemManager folder.
If the file is missing your HM1 installation is corrupt. Reinstall HM1 with the full installer @ http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe

Please try a reindex of your database via pgadminIII->maintenance.
If that doesn't help you should create a new database and reimport all your hands (+notes +summaries).
