version 1.12.11

I have a 80GB SSHD, with around 20GB free space.
When I try to restore a 1.14GB database, it fills up 20GB free space and HEM will have problems completing the restoration. I also notice a lot of SQL files pop-up.

Suggestions?

Is the backup file 1.14 GB?
A backup file created in pgadminIII, or using the backup/restore utility.

A backup file is extremely compressed, so a 1 GB file need about 20 GB of free disk space.
Can't you delete another unused database or delete all the LOG files, read: #8, #10, #11

yes the backup file is 1.14GB.
as for databases, I started a new one and I'm sure its pretty small, but is there anyway to confirm this?

Is it possible to restore the database on another hard drive and transfer to C:
I tried steps above but it only freed 3GB.

Ill give it another try.

Restoring database is performed exactly in place where postgresql\data folder is located.
Path to it can be set when you install Postgres - or you can move it according to our FAQ
