Everest - HEM interfering with SW

Hi,

I've got a weird error atm. Everest have an option to 'bring table to front on action' which I have disabled and I've tried it without running HEM and it works. However, once I start importing, it stops working and all the windows start popping up when action is required. It's not like the Stars SW that waits until you've completed your action and I end up having my play interrupted or clicking the wrong window. I can just about handle 6 tables with this bug, but any more and it becomes a nightmare with constant popping up etc

Any ideas how to sort it?

Please start the exe file of the everest client as administrator (its a setting in the compatibility tab of the file properties).

Thanks, the option is greyed out and I'm the only user (admin). Any idea how to get around it? I'm running Vista

You need to enable UAC, reboot your computer, check the setting and try it.
After this you can disable UAC again.

Thanks for that. I tried it out and it worked fine, but after 20 mins and when I joined my 7th table it reverted back to the old problem :( so frustrating, it was working for a short while.

Any ideas?

Which HM version are you using?

Does it make a difference with 1.11.03?

I talked to our developers and the only workaround we have for this problem is to activate table preferences -> force on top
If you play with stacked tables you should check "active table only too".
