Hi,

I have my hands set up to archive to c:\poker\hmarchive

but that folder is not there

I have the latest version of HM, and have not clicked disable archiving.

Where are my archived hands?

Hi praetor

The below info is taken from here:
FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Setting Up Auto Import Folders (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/274/Setting+Up+Auto+Import+Folders)

###
By default the archive is here: "C:\HMArchive"

###
If it's not there you can find it like this: Open HM > HM menu bar > Options > Configure Auto Import Folders...

This Dialog opens [example picture - your paths may not look like this in the pic]:

http://1.2.3.11/bmi/faq.holdemmanager.com/images/configure-auto-import-02.jpg

Click the "Add Folder" button & this dialog opens [example picture - your paths may not look like this in the pic]::

http://1.2.3.10/bmi/faq.holdemmanager.com/images/configure-auto-import-01.jpg

The bottom field shows you the Archive Folder path
Make sure while you're there that the "Disable Archive" check box is EMPTY (not checked)

I mean, thanks for the reply, but did you even read my post?

I specifically said I had it set to c:\poker\hmarchive

I said I Did not have Disable archive checked

And the folder is not there

Sure I read it...

I pasted the reply from a post I did recently, but neglected to remove the last line - because I was pushed for time
I don't know the answer, but I thought it might help you if by chance you'd failed to save the new path you had set up - I was prompting you to take a look-see if it was at the default path

The other possibility that I can imagine is hidden folders, but that's probably bollox.

I think in your position I would go into windows 'folder options' & unhide files & folders inc the sysem ones & then run a search for your screen name or a poker table name. Something like that

If that failed I would have to suppose they aren't being archived & I would probably make a post about it, then go for a pint or take the dog for a walk or both :)

Unfortunately it's 2am so no pub...

My final thought was regarding the path you chose: "C:\poker\hmarchive"

I was wondering if you have your auto-import paths going through C:\poker\... that would cause problems I think

Why not put it back to default just to see what happens ?

Good night
