Hi,
I had an old version 1.09 trial on my computer, and I tried to install the new patch to see the new software, it installed and update things it works once.
Same trouble with the last trial, it detects a past install and overwrite on it.
And now I want to buy licence to software, but it does not want to open anything, even when I want to launch the last trial it does like if i already had a licence.
What should I do ? uninstall evereything ?

I have vista and I desactived the control panel
I think the past database I had will be saved even if I uninstall the software?

Have you purchased a code yet? Once you get the code you should be able to open HM and register the code.
Make sure you update to our latest beta at the very least - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate
Or,, better yet, use our latest pre-release build - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/33500-1-11-03-pre-release.html
If you still have registration problems after you receive the code:
Enable the options to see Hidden Files and System Protected Files: How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html)

1. Delete C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2. Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)
3. Update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
If you can't find those files, DO NOT delete any other files with similar names.
Please send your Reg.log from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder to support@holdemmanager.com.
Once you update and get HM open/registered your DB should probably still be there. I would personally suggest you start a fresh DB and import all your old/original hands to the new db. If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

Ok thanks for quick answer, I have not bought a code yet because, when I launch the soft it says after validating, that there no licence in cache or something like that
I scare that if I buy a code now, I dont be able to use it because I don't know when it will ask me the validation code, the windows says to ask the support.
When I do all what you says before, it is the same, and this is empty C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\
So when I buy, will you give a file to put in it or other ?

No problem. Do not hesitate to post or email if you have problems. I am sorry if my lengthy post unnecessarily frightened you. I just wanted to be sure I covered all the bases because I havent been on the forums a lot lately.
