Is it bad to import a 1 gig file of hands? OR would it be better to use a program to break it into like 20 small ones? Any difference?

Also:
Is this bad for importing?
My HH was saved like this :http://yfrog.com/necorrupedmaybep
But it did import like 11,000 successful with like 1500 errors (1500 missed hands) ---

Could that have corrupted my DB in the first place?

Don't worry about the import errors. They can't corrupt your database.

1 GB file will be a PAIN IN THE A** to import.
It could take WEEKS on a slow computer. Full Tilt sent you .RAR files that all unzipped into one 1 GB file?

If you can find any program that can break it into 20 pieces that would be preferred.

Ok sounds good (cant corrupt part)

As for the 1 gig file... I had a program created that extracts hands from my DB based on gametype and date ranges --- my DB is corrupted where I can't import anything (100% import errors) but I could still access it -- so I am extracting all my hands from this year and it makes 1 huge file for each risk... so I ahve about 10 files all of which are a gig to 3 gigs.

Guess I'll be breaking them down so I can do re-indexing in between
