Deleting myself from DB

Hello,

Lately I've been running really poor :( And in order to regain my confidence and forget it all I would like to delete all my reports/hands/graphs/stats (deleting hands is not that necessary), but is there any option to do this without loosing all the stats of my opponents? :confused:

It's a shame you want to do this, because how do you learn from your errors ? But, that said...

I was going to suggest a purge - but, it's a bit of a half solution. It doesn't work well for the future when you are 'running better' & want to analyse some hands in the replayer - If like me you have the HUD in replayer you really need to have your HUD stats 'ON' & in there they are your all time stats...

So if you've got the patience to do it - here's my suggestion [someone else might have a better idea though]

** Make a folder somewhere you can find easily
** Export all the HH's from your DB to the new folder

** You will find a bunch of .txt files in that folder now which is all the HH's
** Make a copy of this somewhere in case you screw up the next steps
** Using Notepad++ | 5.7 (http://notepad-plus-plus.org/) you can find all instances of your ScreenName "p0waaa" in one hit & replace with an unlikely name that no other player has - such as AABBCC [Make sure it doesn't exist in your DB!]
** Change one instance of AABBCC back to "p0waaa"
** Create new DB

** Import modified HH's
** Set your Hero Name to "p0waaa"
** Purge all hands except for ""p0waaa" (you only have one hand)
** Close HM & vacuum/analyse - full

** Re-index [see pic 6. inabove link]
** close all running progs you can inc AV progs. stop postgreSQL service
** defrag
** reboot
** open HM & select ""p0waaa" as hero name

You are now a poker virgin with historical stats based on just ONE HAND :)
