I haven't changed anything, and all I did was do DB maintenance through PGAdmin like I always do, and then I couldn't connect to the DB again. I am certain it's a problem with the service because when it's not running, and when I try to start it I get:

So I can't connect through pgadmin or HEM. I don't know where to begin trouble shooting. The only place I know to look is in the event viewer and the only thing I see in there at all under applications is:

Please help...not having my HUD is way negative EV :(

I'm not sure this helps, but my postgeSQL works fine & I have an empty folder called pg_tblspc here:
"C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.4\data\pg_tblspc"

Do you ?

I did the following FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Reinstall PostgreSQL Preserving Old Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/71/Reinstall+PostgreSQL+Preserving+Old+Database) and it didn't work. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled and the service still won't start. I don't understand how this could of happen just through data base maintenance.

Also UAC and windows firewall is disabled.

Here is the notification that pops up the most in event viewer:

I don't know what I did but it works now. All I did is leave that last post, and access the DB through pgadmin, and it fired back up and appears to be working fine again.

Go figure...
