Why is HEM sometimes importing player notes from PS notes file but not always? This is a very annoying problem.

Next time you have a problem please email the stars notes file to support@holdemmanager.net and also link to this thread and well look into this

One likely reason for this problem is a bug in PokerStars software and Unicode encoding. Player notes with characters encoded with two or more bytes are corrupted by PokerStars client.

My friend noticed this bug some months ago, I don't know if it still is there.

I have this problem every time I try importing. A email and the file has been sent to support.

So is this gonna be fixed or is it being ignored? I guess that request for me to send the notes file was just chaff huh?

Its not something we can fix within a few days. Its still an open issue which needs to be checked.

it's on our to-do list. With PokerStars latest update they changed the format again. Please send me your note file to fabio@holdemmanager.net and I'll take care of it.
