For some reason hold'em manager isn't recording the correct details from my pokerstars tournaments. Any ideas why?

HM can easily calculate the correct winnings and placings if its a 1 table sng where all the players are at the same table. However with MTTs basically and 2+ table tournaments HM has no way of knowing whether there is 10 people in the tournament or 10,000 so without this info HM cant workout your position or payout structure or if the tournament is complete. You can manually edit or also you can request summaries if you play on stars, full tilt automatically import the summaries because their saved with the hand histories. Unfortunately no other sites currently provide these summaries so youll need to manually edit the information by right clicking on the tournament in Tourney > Results > Data View because its impossible for HM to know this information unless they write the information to a hand history or summary. I suggest emailing your site and ask them to provide this essential feature if they dont currently write them and then we can easily add support.

If you play on stars do the following to request the summaries:

You need to request and import any/all your tournament summaries and import those to HM. Stars does not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive, like FTP does.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Tournament Summaries.

The summaries will be attached to the email, most likely as .HTM or .HTML files. Download those and Import File(s) via the Import TAB. It may ask you for the hero name that the summaries belong to. If so type in your name and press ok. After you refresh the summaries should have update the tournament results correctly.

Then later, if you want to import the summaries on a regular basis:

Go to Pokerstars Lobby > Requests Menu > Tournament History .. > select last 200 summaries and theyll email them to you.

Then you have to create a text file from the email, to import to HM.
